(Minneapolis, MN) — The Golden Gopher baseball team beat North Dakota State in a non-conference game yesterday at Siebert (SEE-bert) Field, 10-0. Minnesota was paced by Cole McDevitt of Apple Valley and Connor Schaefbauer of Sioux Falls, who each had three hits and two runs driven in. McDevitt homered in the game. The game was scoreless through six innings before Minnesota tallied seven times in the seventh frame and three more in the eighth inning. The 25th-ranked Gophers improved to 22-and-11 on the season. The Bison fell to 17-and-17. Minnesota will play a three-game series at Northwestern this weekend.
