(Rochester, MN) — The Golden Gopher Coaches Caravan held a stop in Rochester last night. Gopher football coach P-J Fleck headlined a group of four coaches who spoke to the gathering at the Hilton Hotel. Volleyball coach Hugh McCutcheon, wrestling coach Brandon Eggum, and men’s golf coach Justin Smith also talked to supporters. Athletic director Mark Coyle says fans are always great to interact with and it is important for the coaches to get around the state. This was the second of four stops around Minnesota for the annual caravan, which has not happened the past two years due to the pandemic. The first visit was to Chaska earlier this month. The caravan will also stop in Stillwater and Brainerd next month. For event and ticket info on the final two trips, fans can log on to the Gopher sports webpage.
