(Minneapolis, MN) — It is game week for the University of Minnesota football team as the season opener is slated for tomorrow night at home against Buffalo. Golden Gopher senior defensive end Anthony Smith has been named to several preseason watch lists and says they are looking forward to the first game. Smith says they’ve worked hard this offseason to get more connected as a team and they are excited to “hit someone in another jersey.” The Gophers were 8-5 last year, while Buffalo was 9-4. Tomorrow’s game kicks off at 7 P-M and there are tickets still available for the game at the team’s webpage.
