(Minneapolis, MN) — The Golden Gophers will practice today, have tomorrow off, and return to the practice field on Thursday. Thursday’s workout is open to the public at the Gibson-Nagurski Football Complex on campus. And, the team’s specialists are asking that fans bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to the “Heart for Hunger” campaign. “Heart for Hunger” has the mission to provide over 60,000 Thanksgiving Day meals to families in need. Thursday’s practice is scheduled to begin at 3:30 P-M. The Gophers hosted a diaper drive a few weeks ago and donated nearly 14-thousand diapers to the “Diaper Bank of Minnesota.” Gopher punter Ryan Santoso spoke to MNN Sports Director Mike Grimm about the Food Drive:
