(Minneapolis, MN) — Golden Gopher senior golfer Angus Flanagan of Woking, England says he is playing the best golf of his career. The 2019 co-Big Ten champion will be shooting for his second league championship when Minnesota takes part in the conference tournament at Crooked Stick outside of Indianapolis this weekend. Flanagan is on a bit of role, having won the past two events he’s played and winning Big Ten Golfer of the Week honors in each of the past two weeks. The Gopher men’s team won the event in Nebraska two weeks ago. In addition to the big weekend upcoming, Flanagan will be playing in the Walker Cup the following weekend at Seminole Valley in Florida. He will represent Great Britain as it takes on Team U-S-A in the event that features top amateur players from the United State, Great Britain, and Ireland.
