(Minneapolis, MN) — Golder Gopher forward Cade Tyson tied a school record by making eight three-point baskets in Minnesota’s 89-53 win over Texas Southern yesterday at Williams Arena. Tyson was 8-for-12 from long distance and scored a career high 38 points in the victory. The 38 points is the eighth-most ever scored in game for Minnesota, which improved to 6-5 on the season. Tyson added 11 rebounds to his stat line. The visiting Tigers dipped to 1-7 on the season. The Golden Gophers will play Campbell next Sunday at 5 P-M in Minneapolis.
