(Eugene, OR) — The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team visits the University of Oregon for a Big Ten game tonight. The Golden Gophers are coming off of Saturday night’s 69-57 loss at Washington, dropping to 11-14 overall and 4-10 in the Big Ten. The host Ducks are 9-16 overall and 2-12 in the Big Ten after Saturday’s 83-72 victory over Penn State. The Gophers will once again be without Jaylen Crocker-Johnson, who missed the Washington game with a foot injury. That leaves head coach Niko Medved with just one post player in redshirt freshman Grayson Grove of Alexandria. Medved says that creates a big defensive challenge since Oregon’s best player is the center Nate Bittle. Tonight’s game tips off at 9:40 P-M at Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene.
