March 6, 2023 By kevin.falness@mnnradio.com

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Badgers got a badly needed win as they slipped past the Gophers 71-67 at Williams Arena on Sunday night. Wisconsin did their best to keep their chances for an at-large berth alive as they try and get into the N-C-A-A Tournament. Steven Crowl and Tyler Wahl each had 21 points for the Bagers as they improved to 17-12 overall and 9-11 in the Big Ten. Dawson Garcia scored 19 points for the Gophers as they finish the regular season with an 8-21 record and just 2-17 in the Big Ten. Braeden Carrington had 11 points and eight rebounds in defeat.
