(Madison, WI) — The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team plays round two of their border battle with Wisconsin when the two teams meet tonight in Madison. The Badgers took the first game of the season series back on January 13th 78-75 on a buzzer-beater at Williams Arena. Golden Gopher head coach Niko Medved says his star player Cade Tyson is “day-to-day” with an ankle injury and is “questionable at best” for tonight’s contest. Medved says he doesn’t think the injury will be an extended one for Tyson. Minnesota is looking to stop a five-game losing streak. The 10-10 Golden Gophers are 3-6 in the Big Ten. Wisconsin is 14-6 overall and 3-3 in the Big Ten after Sunday’s 73-71 home loss to U-S-C. Tonight’s tip time is 8 P-M at the Kohl Center in Madison.
