(New Brunswick, NJ) — The University of Minnesota men’s basketball team is looking to put a halt to a five-game losing streak when it visits Rutgers tonight in a Big Ten Conference match-up. The Golden Gophers are 7-13 overall and 1-9 in the Big Ten after Saturday’s 81-61 loss at Northwestern. The host Scarlett Knights are 14-7 overall and 6-4 in the conference. The Gophers lead the all-time series against Rutgers at 9-6 after beating the Scarlett Knights 68-65 at Williams Arena in last year’s only game between the two opponents. Rutgers had won the previous four encounters prior to last year’s outcome. Tonight’s game tips off at 7:30 P-M.
