(West Lafayette, IN)  —  Jaylen Crocker-Johnson scored a team-high 17 points, Cade Tyson finished with 15 and Langston Reynolds added 11, but No. 6 Purdue (9-1, 2-0 Big Ten) pulled away from a three-point halftime lead en route to a 85-57 win over Minnesota (5-5, 1-1 B1G) at Mackey Arena.  Crocker-Johnson scored 11 of his 17 points in the first half, helping the Gophers trim a 12-point deficit to a 35-32 game at the half. He finished the game 6-of-13 from the field, including 4-of-9 from three-point range. The four treys tied his career-high versus Fresno State (1/7/25), while playing at Colorado State last season, and the nine three-point attempts was a career-high. Tyson reached double-figures for the 10th time this season. He was 4-of-11 from the field, but went 7-of-7 at the free throw line, and added four rebounds and four assists. Reynolds reached double-figures for the third straight game and added four rebounds and a pair of assists.  The Gophers are back to work on Sunday when they host Texas Southern for a noon tip at Williams Arena.
