(Champaign, IL) — The Big Ten Softball Tournament begins today at the University of Illinois. The Golden Gopher team earned the three-seed in the event and will receive an opening round bye. Minnesota will play in a quarterfinal game tomorrow morning against the winner of today’s preliminary game between Ohio State and Rutgers. Tomorrow’s tilt is the day’s first game, starting at 11 A-M.
