(Minneapolis, MN) — College sports are starting on the University of Minnesota campus and school officials say ticket sales are going well thus far. Golden Gopher football, volleyball and women’s soccer have started fall workouts and all three will be opening their 2022 seasons soon. U of M senior associate athletic director Mike Wierzbicki says things are much closer to normal from a campus standpoint this year than is the past two seasons. He says tickets still remain for most Gopher athletic events this fall. For budget-conscious football fans, Wierzbicki recommends the “Gopher Pass,” which is a season to all football games with fans getting a various and different seating assignment for each week. He says volleyball tickets are in high demand. For more information on Gopher tickets, fans can go to the Gopher Sports webpage.
