(Minneapolis, MN)  —  The University of Minnesota women’s basketball (3-0, 0-0 Big Ten) defeated the Marquette Golden Eagles (2-1, 0-0 BIG EAST) 90-47 at Williams Arena on Tuesday night in front of 2,999 fans.  The Gophers had four players score in double figures, led by Grace Grochoski, who had 19 points and eight rebounds. Tori McKinney tacked on 16 points and two steals and Sophie Hart chipped in as well with 14 points and two steals.  Minnesota is home again on Friday night when they host New Jersey Institute of Technology (N-J-I-T) for a 5 P-M tip.
