The University of Minnesota women’s hockey program has unveiled the schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season. The 29th season in program history will feature a 28-game conference slate and six non-conference matchups.
The Gophers will drop the puck at home against Boston College on Sept. 25-26 to open the season before heading on the road to face Boston University on Oct. 3-4.
WCHA conference play begins with a home-and-home series against St. Cloud State on Oct. 10-11. The Maroon and Gold will then take on the Ohio State Buckeyes at Ridder Arena on Oct. 18-19, before heading on the road to face Minnesota Duluth (Oct. 24-25) and Wisconsin (Oct. 31-Nov. 1) to close out the month.
After a two-week break, Minnesota will return home to face Bemidji State (Nov. 14-15), followed by back-to-back home-and-home series against Minnesota State (Nov. 21-22) and St. Thomas (Dec. 5-6) to complete the first half of the season.
The second half of the season will begin on the road against Sacred Heart (Jan. 2-3), then with another home-and-home series against Minnesota State (Jan. 9-10). The Gophers will travel to face Bemidji State on Jan. 16-17, then complete their second series against St. Cloud State (Jan. 23-24) before hosting Wisconsin on Jan. 30-31.
The final month of the regular season will see Minnesota’s second home-and-home series against St. Thomas (Feb. 6-7), a road matchup versus Ohio State (Feb. 13-14), and the regular season finale against Minnesota Duluth at Ridder Arena (Feb. 20-21).
