Minnesota got on the board in the ninth minute thanks to a long ball from senior defender Elizabeth Overberg. The center back found Harper at the top of the 18 yard box, who dribbled in to finish her seventh goal of the season.
The offensive attack continued in the second half, as the Gophers extended their lead in the 64th minute. Sophomore Paige Kalal sent in a corner kick as Harper used her head to find the back of the net, scoring her eighth.
Five minutes later, in a similar fashion, graduate Evelyn Calhoon delivered a corner kick to Boman who sent a header goal to the back of the net.
