(Minneapolis, MN) — The Gophers early season woes continued on Sunday night as they fell to No. 23 Mississippi State 69-51. Dawson Garcia scored 20 for the Gophers but it wasn’t enough as they lost their fifth straight and fell to 4-6 on the season. The Bulldogs will remain unbeaten with a perfect 9-0 record. The Gophers will get another crack at a win on their home floor when they host Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Wednesday night with a 7 P-M tip from Williams Arena.
