Gov. Mark Dayton
Governor Mark Dayton and top cabinet officials are in Edgerton today (noon) to talk about water quality in southwest Minnesota. The Governor said in his State of the State address last week that Minnesota faces a “growing problem” with water quality in some parts of the state. He says, “Left unattended, this problem will become a crisis for some of our citizens and communities. We face the immediate challenge to provide help, especially to smaller communities in Greater Minnesota.” Dayton is concerned not only about water treatment facilities but also runoff from farm fields.
