Governor Tim Walz is back at the State Capitol, four days after minor surgery on his left knee for a medial meniscus tear — and a spokesman says the governor is “full of energy… and not using crutches, so safe to say he’s doing well.” The governor’s office says Walz expects to recover his full physical capability in under six weeks following physical therapy. The injury is common for runners and it’s expected Walz will need another surgery soon for a similar tear in his right knee.
