Governor Tim Walz disputes President Trump’s claim that he’ll win Minnesota next year. “We almost won it [in 2016]. One more speech,” the president told a cheering crowd Monday at a truck company in Burnsville. Governor Walz responded today, in an off-year election he got more votes than the president — the first time that’s happened. The governor added, “The constant… drama that surrounds every single thing is wearing on people. I think southern Minnesota farmers are about at wits’-end.”
The governor says there’s no movement on trade deals.
