(St. Paul, MN) — Governor Dayton proclaimed this WE Day in Minnesota and he helped kick off the big WE Day celebration this morning at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Dayton says “when youth educators and people across Minnesota come together we can create massive change. And not to brag, but we know the youth of Minnesota are the best, most passionate, energetic and committed young people anywhere in the world.” Around 18-thousand young people from throughout the state are gathered at the event, which celebrates youth making a difference in their communities.
