Martin County Sheriff’s officials have released the name of the woman who died from carbon monoxide poisoning in a fish house on Sunday. 21-year-old Ashton Hendricksen of Granada was found unresponsive at the scene on Wilmert Lake in southern Minnesota. Four other people were taken to the hospital for treatment. Carbon monoxide can be hard to detect because it’s a colorless, odorless gas. Officials encourage anglers to have a working carbon monoxide detector present in the fish house.
