Grandma’s Marathon registration fee goes up tomorrow

December 31, 2018 By Bill Werner

If you’re thinking about running Grandma’s Marathon next summer but haven’t registered yet, you might consider doing it today because the price goes up tomorrow.  On January 1st the entry fee increases 10 dollars to 135 dollars. There’s an additional price increase April 1st for those who choose to wait. Organizers say the 2019 Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon race is sold out, but it’s still possible to enter for both 2019 and 2020 by contributing to a fundraiser for the Youth Athletes Foundation or fundraising for other registered charities. The William A. Irvin 5K race is also sold out for 2019, but people can still get in if they also register for the full marathon. Grandma’s weekend is June 20th through the 22nd in Duluth.
