Kids are more than twice as likely to be hit by a car on Halloween than on any other day of the year. Erin Petersen with the Minnesota Safety Council is reminding parents, kids and motorists to be alert when out and about tonight…
Kids are urged to watch out for cars, use crosswalks, and carry flashlights or reflective wristbands or tape on their costumes.
Trick or treaters will be treated to a warmer than normal Halloween night. Temperatures up to 60 degrees over much of the state are expected as children head out from door to door this evening. That could spare many parents from having to put coats on over elaborate costumes.
