It’s been a turbulent first month in office so far for President Donald Trump and his administration. There have been controversies regarding executive orders on immigration, replacing the affordable care act and the administration’s relationship with Russia. Hamline political expert David Schultz says the Trump team “ran as outsiders who wanted to change the way Washington is run and what they’re confronting at this point is that lack of Washington experience is contributing to a significant amount of the problems that they’re facing right now.”
Schultz says Trump needs to learn from the mistakes he’s made and correct them moving forward. He also says the Trump team needs to “come clean” and cooperate with any forthcoming investigations related to his administration’s dealings with Russia.
