After 20 years, the head of the American Civil Liberties Union of Minnesota is stepping down. Executive Director Charles Samuelson says it’s with a heavy heart that he announces his resignation. Samuelson says his time at the ACLU of Minnesota has been one of the great joys of his life. For the past four years, Samuelson has been fighting a neurological disease and treatments are no longer working. Samuelson says theses troubled times require more than he is now able to provide. His last day will be February 28th.
