Bloomington-based HealthPartners is cutting about 75 jobs because of reduced revenue due to this year’s elimination of Medicare Cost health plans across much of Minnesota. Federal law requires the plans be phased out beginning this year in counties where there’s significant competition from insurers with Medicare Advantage plans. HealthPartners reportedly sold more Medicare Advantage plans, but not enough to offset losses.
