Heavy rain, strong winds expected across sections of MN

Heavy rainfall totaling one to two inches is expected today (Mon) and tomorrow in central and north-central Minnesota and on the North Shore from Two Harbors to Grand Portage. A gale warning is in effect on Lake Superior until 9pm, and the National Weather Service says high waves could cause flooding in Canal Park and Park Point in Duluth, plus on the Lakewalk. Strong winds with gusts from 50 to 60 miles an hour are expected in western Minnesota this afternoon and evening.
