(Undated) — The recently identified “person of interest ” in the Jacob Wetterling case is due in federal court in St. Paul today. 52-year-old Daniel Heinrich of Annandale was charged last week with possessing and receiving child pornography. In 1990, Heinrich was arrested in the kidnapping of a 12-year-old Cold Spring boy, but was not charged. Heinrich has not been charged in Wetterling’s 1989 disappearance and has denied being involved. Wetterling’s parents spoke to reporters yesterday at their St. Joseph home and said they hope and pray that one day they’ll have the answer to the one question they’ve asked forever: where is Jacob?
