The high number of domestic-violence-related police calls is a concern in Minnesota as the governor’s stay-at-home order remains in effect through April 10th. Becky Smith with Violence Free Minnesota says domestic violence programs are open and “there is a safe place for you to go.” Smith encourages anyone who is being victimized to reach out to an advocate or someone trustworthy.
