Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman announced today he will not use a grand jury in the case involving Jamar Clark, who was shot and killed by Minneapolis Police last November. Freeman says he will make the factual determination whether there is sufficient evidence to support a criminal charge against the police officers involved. Freeman says he hopes to reach a decision in the Jamar Clark case in the near future. Hennepin County will no longer use grand juries in police shooting cases.
