The Minnesota Vikings will continue the annual Prep Spotlight tradition on the Viking Lakes campus at TCO Stadium this weekend, hosting the first nine-player game at the facility and a local rivalry game. Simley will host South St. Paul on Friday, September 27, and the following day Norman County East/Ulen-Hitterdal will face Stephen-Argyle in a nine-player matchup.
o Friday, September 27 – South St. Paul vs. Simley at 7 p.m.
o Saturday, September 28 – Norman County/Ulen-Hitterdal vs. Stephen-Argyle at 6 p.m.
The Vikings Prep Spotlight began with the opening of TCO Performance Center and TCO Stadium in 2018. The ability to host high school and youth football events at the facility was a primary focus in the design of the campus. The Vikings have hosted 11 Prep Spotlight games and three state playoff games since beginning the program in 2018.
