High temperature records are falling like dominos across Minnesota on this sixth day of May. For a short time this morning, Two Harbors on the North Shore was the hot spot in the nation at 90 degrees. They’re now 93, while further up the Shore at Grand Marais it’s only 51 degrees with a thunderstorm reported in between at Silver Bay. Duluth, Saint Cloud, Mankato, Alexandria and the Twin Cities all broke temperature records for this date today. A number of cities in southwest Minnesota are nudging previously-set records also.
