Stillwater’s well-known “Lumberjack Days” festival this weekend has had to move some events to higher ground and cancel others because heavy rains are pushing up water levels on the Saint Croix River. Erin McQuay says forecasters predict that the park where the event is centered will be completely flooded, but they had plenty of time to make adjustments. The music stage and beer garden have been moved a couple hundred feet into the parking lot of a local hotel. Gondola and pontoon rides, plus a youth fishing contest on Saturday have been canceled.
