A Hill-Murray football player is walking and talking this week after suffering a brain bleed late last month resulting in a medically induced coma. Zach Zarembinski did not feel well and took himself off the field during a game on October 27th–he collapsed soon after. Zarembinski’s dad Dan says the support his family received since then has been overwhelming. He says “Zachary has asked me how can I thank all these people for everything they’ve done and I said you’ll have your chance. I said as you get better you’ll meet these people–I mean there’s been people that have come to us that we don’t even know.” Dan recounts that when his son came out of the coma “I said Zach did you feel all the people in the community, and the state and the country praying for you? Did you really feel that? He said dad I felt it, he said I could feel it when I was under and when I was sick, and he said it’s been a big help for him.” A GoFundMe page has been set up for Zach and a benefit account has been set up at Premier Banks in the Zarembinskis’ name. Here’s more with Dan Zarembinski.
