(Minneapolis, MN) — Safety Harrison Smith had a big game as the Vikings beat the Lions 23-10 and eliminated them from the playoffs in the process. Smith had an interception, a sack, three pass deflections, two tackles for loss and a quarterback hit. That’s four straight wins for a Vikings team that’s sitting at 8-8 with one game left in the season. Quarterback Max Brosmer threw for just 51 yards and was sacked seven times behind a makeshift offensive line. Jordan Addison had the key moment in the game when he scored a 65 yard touchdown on a jet sweep to seal the win with 3:43 left in the contest. The loss drops the Lions to 8-8 as well as they suffered their third straight loss. The Vikings will finish the regular season next week at home against Green Bay.
