Top Republicans are roundly criticizing MN-DOT’s “Corridors of Commerce” 2018 project list released Tuesday. Hanska Representative Paul Torkelson says, “I don’t think anyone would really interpret any of those as being truly a Greater Minnesota project. These discussions will continue. It’s a serious issue.” But Torkelson says they will *not* address it in a transportation budget bill up for a vote in the Minnesota House this afternoon. A bill the Senate passed last week would require a 50-50 rural-metro split in “Corridors of Commerce” projects.
