Northbound I-35 has reopened from Albert Lea to Owatonna but the southbound lanes remain closed. MN-DOT says I-35 is open in both directions, however, between Albert Lea and the Iowa border. But I-90 remains closed between Albert Lea and Highway 52 near Rochester following this weekend’s major blizzard. A number of highways in southeast Minnesota remain closed, with No Travel advisories in place for most of the rest. Check 511mn.org for the latest information. Officials say driving conditions are still poor across large sections of southern Minnesota.
