The race for U-S House in Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District has become a three-way contest with small businessman Bradley Svenson announcing Tuesday night he’s seeking the Independence Party’s endorsement. Svenson says Republicans’ attempts to repeal Obamacare have failed, while on the other side, “Democrats want to broaden it. They want to make it bigger and they want to go to single-payer. And the idea is here, let’s fix what we have, let’s focus on the broken parts, and let’s make it better for everybody.”
Svenson is challenging incumbent Republican Jason Lewis. Democrat Angie Craig, who lost to Lewis in 2016, is looking for a re-match.
