More information is expected today (1pm) about the New Hope man accused of entering Champlin Park High School Wednesday and engaging in sex acts with a student. Brooklyn Park Police say the 42-year-old suspect had set up a pre-arranged encounter with the student and the two are believed to have engaged in sexual acts in a school bathroom. A student noticed the man and reported him to staff. Security personnel apprehended the suspect and law enforcement took him into custody. The man is currently being detained at the Brooklyn Park Jail.
