Police are looking for an escaped inmate from Beltrami County Jail. 22-year-old Keanu Major was being taken to Sanford Hostpital after getting into a fight with another inmate when he escaped from custody. Major was last seen in the northwest part of Bemidji in leg shackles and a waist belt with restraints and an orange prison jumpsuit. Major is Native American, five-ten, weighs approximately 195 pounds and has black hair, facial hair and hazel eyes. He has a tattoo on his neck that says “Victoria.” Major is considered armed and dangerous. He may be driving a stolen 2004 Chevy Silverado, plate number 668-KKY. Anyone with information is urged to call 9-1-1.
