Meeker County investigators are asking the public for information about a Waverly man, 40-year-old Shawn Medley, whose body was found Sunday in Ellsworth Township after his abandoned car was located Saturday in Litchfield. Sheriff Brian Cruze says, “From what we can tell, we don’t think that where he was located is where he died, so we’re trying to backtrack and see where he was at during this last weekend and trying to piece this together.”
Anyone who had contact with Medley this past week or saw his vehicle, a silver Hyundai Elantra, should contact the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office. Cruze says even if someone thinks the information they have is minor, investigators still want to hear from them.
