Iowa drivers are now ranked the best in the nation, taking the number-one spot away from their counterparts in neighboring Minnesota in a survey by car-insurance-comparison-dot-com. It’s based on the number of highways deaths caused by drunken driving, careless driving, not using seatbelts and other risky behavior. Minnesota is rated a distant second after taking the top spot for the last three years. Wisconsin drivers are ranked 20th best in the country, South Dakota 15th best — but North Dakota drivers continue to rank among the worst in the nation according to the survey.
