Will Minnesota have to implement a statewide curfew to try to control the spread of COVID-19? Governor Tim Walz told Minnesota News Network late Tuesday, “Hopefully we start to move in a direction where we start to break that curve, but there may be needed things that need to happen. That’s why the testing is so important because it gives us a snapshot of what’s happening. Either we’re gonna find out through the testing where this is at — clustered and how widespread it is — or we’re going to see it when it overruns and swamps the health care system. And that is the thing that we’re trying to stop.”
Walz says that’s what makes South Korea, with one or two deaths daily from COVID, different from Italy which has four- or five-hundred.
