The latest job numbers for January will be released later this morning. December’s unemployment report pointed to continued growth in 2016. State job analyst Steve Hine says while majority of the 11 industrial sectors added jobs — a few were struggling. Those were professional and business services; trade, transportation and utilities; and the logging and mining sector. Minnesota’s unemployment rate in December was 3.5 percent. That compared to the national jobless rate of 4.9 percent.
