Police in Edina say a juvenile was responsible for a swastika and a sexually-explicit image drawn in chalk on a shed behind an elementary school (Concord). The Star Tribune reports that authorities say surveillance video lead investigators to the suspect who confessed, but because there was no permanent damage to school property, there’s no crime to charge. But Edina City Manager Scott Neal stresses swastikas are offensive and do not reflect the sentiments of that community.
