(Salt Lake City, UT) — No Karl-Anthony Towns didn’t help the Timberwolves cause in a 128-116 loss at Utah. Towns along with six teammates were put into the N-B-A’s Covid protocols leading into Thursday’s game against the Jazz. With no Towns, Malik Beasley stepped up with 33 points to lead all scorers but it wasn’t enough as the Wolves dropped their second straight. Earlier in the day, Towns took to social media to voice his frustration with his situation. His mother passed away last year after complications with the virus. Monday night the Timberwolves will host the Celtics at Target Center.
