Senator Amy Klobuchar today blasted presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump, while applauding Hillary Clinton as the first woman to clinch a major party’s nomination for president. Klobuchar told CNN, “My favorite part last night was when she [Clinton] said the Pledge of Allegiance and talked about ‘one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.’ We can’t have the kind of rhetoric we’re hearing from him [Trump].” Analysts speculate Klobuchar has her eye on running for president at some point.
