(Las Vegas, NV) — Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury made 36 saves – including 20 in the third period alone – as Vegas took out the Wild 5-1 on Wednesday night. Marcus Foligno scored the lone Wild goal midway through the second but that’s all the offense they could generate as they dropped their second in a row, both to the Knights. The road trip continues for the Wild with a weekend set in Arizona for a pair against the Coyotes. Puck drops at 8 P-M on Friday and 6 P-M on Saturday from Glendale.

Marcus Foligno scored the only goal for Minnesota in the loss at Vegas
Prior to Wednesday’s game, head coach Dean Evason announced Zach Parise would be a healthy scratch for the first time since signing with the Wild in 2012.

Zach Parise was a healthy scratch on Wednesday against the Golden Knights
Evason wouldn’t reveal why Parise would sit against the Golden Knights but Parise said he was told it was for a lengthy shift at the end of regulation in Monday’s loss to Vegas when he was on the ice for the game tying goal. Parise has three goals and nine points in 19 games this season for Minnesota.
