A just-released poll by MinnPost shows a tight race for president and U-S Senate in Minnesota with two weeks to the election. The survey finds 49 percent of likely Minnesota voters support Joe Biden and 44 percent favor Donald Trump — that’s within the poll’s margin of error. Some recent polls suggest the presidential race could be tightening in Minnesota. The MinnPost poll also found 48 percent of likely voters favor incumbent Democratic Senator Tina Smith and 44 percent support Republican challenger, former congressman and radio talk show host Jason Lewis. Most pundits predict Smith will win re-election and that
race is getting little national attention.
